At the heart of the HEDDphone D1 are Thin-ply Carbon Diaphragms. Developed in collaboration with the Swedish company Composite Sound, these diaphragms utilize the same advanced composite material employed in high-performance applications, such as Formula 1 cars and NASA’s Mars helicopter. Thin-ply Carbon Diaphragms imbue the D1 with incredible structural resonance control, eliminating the need for traditional damping at the diaphragm level, enabling faster, cleaner, and more accurate performance.
