Direct Sound Extreme Isolation® Headphones were invented by a studio session drummer for drummers, stage & studio musicians, home studios and anyone wanting serious isolation.

Extreme Isolation headphones provide safety by protecting your ears from outside noise. By passively and naturally isolating your ears from noise, you will be able to listen at moderate to low volumes, thus eliminating the need to blast your precious ears with high volumes just to overcome the ambient noise. On the flip side, the headphones will not bleed click tracks and pre-recorded music into live microphones due to the unique seal.

    I'm using these to record audio in a home studio, and they're brilliant for cutting out any extraneous noise so that I can really concentrate on what's being recorded, and be on top of any low-level buzz or background atmos that's actually making it onto the recording.

    These are the first headphones I’ve used that actually block out the room sound when miking a cab. Thanks to this I found a totally new mic position that is far superior to what I had previously settled for. Plus they come with a nice durable extension cable and the headphones themselves are very rugged so appropriate for studio use.

    These are the most comfortable headphones i have ever brought. I use these headphones mostly with my electric drum kit and they sound great and are really light which make them really comfortable even after long periods. I also like how long the cable is, so i can keep it out of the way and it doesn't get caught up on anything while i'm playing the drums. The isolation is great too, especially when i'm playing on my acoustic drum kit and live gigs. I highly recommend these for musicians

    These are excellent tracking headphones. The isolation from monitoring noise while recording vocals, is the best I have come across. Inaudible click tracks is a boon.A larger ear cup makes then very easy to wear for long periods.Very balanced sound and can take a treble boost which is a warmer sounding than most. Ill be buying another pair.
