The LANG ELECTRONICS SILVERR 47® cleverly recreates the original design to serve as a stand-alone dual-channel mic preamp that nails the sound palette of one of the most revered preamps of all time.

A rather simple, yet flavourful design that has been adapted to perfection for the needs of modern studios more than 60 years after its creation.

Yes! we are talking about the iconic tube mic preamp design whose sound permeated every track in the 1960s on a particularly famous street of London, as it was used in almost every step of the recording process, from mic preamplifier, line-receiving input amplifier, EQ section driver, fader gain-stage, output line drivers...you name it!

It also achieved legendary status when certain provocative long-haired musicians plugged their electric guitars directly into these preamps and created a distorted sound that can only be described as revolutionary.

But this legendary design is not just a myth from the 1960s, as its simple yet flexible functionalities have proven to be the secret sauce for many experienced contemporary producers and in almost any musical genre you can imagine (from pop to rock, alternative music, metal, hip hop, and even electronic music) due to its unique warmth and punch when tracking any instrument.

And as a unique Heritage Audio’s design feature we have added a NO FEEDBACK gain position, which drastically boosts harmonic distortion to previously unavailable levels, turning the SILVERR 47 into a one of a kind shaping tool.
