WesAudio ngOmniBox Analog Mix and Master Processor
2-channel Analog Mix and Master Processor with Passive EQ, Bus Compressor, Saturation, Clipper, Stereo Enhancer, Digital Recall, and Automation
A Complete Analog Mastering Chain with Digital Control
A veritable all-in-one mastering chain, the WesAudio ngOmniBox combines EQ, compression, saturation, clipping, and stereo enhancement in a single streamlined workflow. This powerful analog processor houses a flexible stereo signal path with individually selectable processing sections, enabling you to shape your final sound in myriad ways. The Input section features Trim and HPF controls, along with L/R metering and Input Inserts for seamless integration of outboard gear. The passive Equalizer section includes two bands of broad, musical sonic sculpting that you can place before or after the compressor. Speaking of which, the Bus Comp section delivers classic mix-bus glue and dynamic mix shaping. Additionally, the ngOmniBox features dedicated Saturation and Clipper sections, enabling you to infuse your productions with harmonic character and density, while also controlling peaks, adding loudness, and providing ample transient shaping. You also get a Width section, which equips you with robust stereo enhancement, and a feature-laden Output section with a Trim knob, L/R metering, and Output Inserts that can operate in either stereo or mid-side (M-S). Moreover, the ngOmniBox features A/B/C comparison for evaluating different processing settings. Boasting deep DAW integration, total recall, full automation, and seamless compatibility with external control surfaces, the ngOmniBox delivers a tactile, console‑like mixing experience while maintaining the cutting-edge precision digital is known for.
Input section
The first process your signal encounters when it hits the ngOmniBox is the Input section, which features a Trim knob, L/R metering, and an HPF knob. Input Inserts are also on hand, enabling you to patch in your outboard processors.
- Trim knob controls your stereo input level
- L/R metering for accurate gain staging
- HPF knob cuts unwanted LF mud
- Input Inserts for integrating external gear
Equalizer section
The WesAudio ngOmniBox’s Equalizer section puts broad sonic sculpting in your hands with two bands of passive EQ. Moreover, you have the flexibility to place the EQ before or after the compressor.
- 2 bands of fully analog passive EQ
- Designed for broad, musical tonal shaping
- 8 selectable Frequency options per band with per-band Gain controls
- Place the EQ before or after the compressor
Bus Comp section
The ngOmniBox’s Bus Comp section was engineered to deliver that elusive mix-bus glue. This analog stereo compressor offers the perfect blend of dynamics control and final mix shaping.
- Delivers the classic mix-bus glue of a British console
- Attack, Release, Ratio, Threshold, and Make Up knobs offer wide-ranging dynamics control
- Mix knob unlocks parallel compression
- Sidechain Filter button keeps low frequencies from affecting dynamics
Saturation section
The WesAudio ngOmniBox’s Saturation section allows you to add harmonic character and density — the coveted “analog” sound — to your productions.
- Adds harmonic character and density
- Mix and Drive knobs allow you to blend dry and affected signals to taste
- Works independently of the unit’s compressor and EQ
Clipper section
Whether you need peak control or simply want to add loudness to your material, the ngOmniBox’s Clipper section delivers the goods. Moreover, it also puts potent transient shaping at your fingertips.
- Controls peaks and adds loudness to your material
- Clip knob provides ample transient shaping
Width section
Narrow mixes have met their match, thanks to the WesAudio ngOmniBox’s Width section. It provides you with exacting control over your production’s stereo image.
- Formidable stereo enhancement from a straightforward control set
- HPF and Width knobs offer powerful control over your stereo image
Output section
The ngOmniBox’s last point of sonic shaping is the Output section, which includes a Trim knob, paired with L/R metering. Output Inserts, complete with Stereo and M-S modes, enable you to easily patch external analog processing at the final stage of your signal chain.
- Trim knob controls your stereo output level
- L/R metering for accurate gain staging
- Output Inserts for integrating outboard gear
- Output Inserts can operate in both Stereo and M-S modes, enabling you to process the center and edges independently
Digital control and recall
Although it’s an all-analog unit, the WesAudio ngOmniBox provides full digital recall of its parameters. It includes A/B/C comparison and an integrated LCD screen. Additionally, the ngOmniBox gives you lock-tight software plugin integration.
- Full digital recall of all analog parameters
- A/B/C comparison allows you to evaluate different processing settings
- LCD screen offers an at-a-glance visualization of parameter values
- Software plugin integration for control, automation, and recall directly from your DAW
